Question
A friend of mine told me about an indoor climbing plant that deters spiders.  It apparently flowers and produces a nice scent.  I cannot remember the name of this plant and cannot find it anywhere.  Have you heard of such a thing or do you know of something similar?

Hi Cara,

I have never heard of such a plant. If there were such a plant, I believe I would have heard about it, so this may fall into the category of plant myths.

Chrysanthemums are repellent to many insects. However, they are not climbing plants.
