Question
Is there any standardization among flower pot/ planter sizes or are they all different? I am trying to find out in general if there is a diameter and height that is common to most pots sold in retail stores.

There may be a standard as far as height vs width such as 2x wide by 3 x high but I have not figured it out. And I am sure there are many exceptions to any rule. I can tell you that pots are measured by their diameter. Good luck.
