QuestionI recently purchased Burro's Tail and Aloe Vera. If I keep these plants indoors, how often is it recommended that I water. What are signs of over/under watering? Can they go outdoors in the spring and summer?
AnswerTere,
If they start shriveling and you can't remember when you lats watered them they are underwatered. If they start shriveling and you just watered them the other day they are overwatered. Overwatering rots the roots and kills them. I don't water mine till they feel very dry and it has been at least 10-14 days. But if at 10-14 days they still feel moist I let them go longer. It helps to pick up the plant. If it is heavy it doesn't need water, if it is light weight it does. They also need as much sun as you can possibly give them. Good luck.
