Hi i am just wondering if you can give me any information on a plant named Alternanthera Hybrids. I am pretty sure that that is its name if you can give me any information it would be great. E-mail [email protected] with any info

Hi Andrew,

The Alternantheras, sometimes called Calico plants or Parrot-leaves, are not good indoor plants because they require more light than is available in even a sunny window. They are generally used outdoors in tropical climates as border plants.

In addition to direct sunlight and warm temps, they require soil that is kept evenly moist and regular fertilizing.
