QuestionI have several phials some in bloom and others have lost their blooms (which lasted a long time).
The ones which are no longer in bloom have began to grow new leaves but the flower stems are still green. Should I cut them?
AnswerCharlita, it is not unusual to get old green flower spikes to rebloom. At each joint (ie node) there are tissues that can cause a branch in the flower spike. You can cut the flower spike back to just above the second or third node and the node just below your cut may develop a branch in the flower spike and that branch may bloom.
