Cycnodes Wine delight   Hi Sir,

 I'm from Singapore. I have just bought a brassia orchid, psychopsis mariposa 'green valley' & Cycd. Wine delight(I heard it is quite a fussy plant; see att image). May I confirm that they need bright light(or at least bright shade) to do well? What is the reccomended watering regime? My highrise balcony experiences only bright indirect afternoon sunlight from August to February in subsequent year while the rest of the months, it experiences only bright shade( see att picture

Alfredo, I think your growing conditions should be fine.  While the Cycn is in active growth, it should not dry out excessively and will be a fairly heavy feeder. After growth has ceased, there should be little to no watering or feeding until it enters a new growth cycle. When the psychopsis flowers, do not remove the old flower spike as it may rebloom on that spike.
