we bought one the these orchids at a flower show in full bloom about a year ago.  Since the flowers died we have not gotten any
new blooms, the plant has spread in the pot but no blooms. We
don't know why.  Does this plant need to be divided into separate
plants? Our other orchids are doing great. Any suggestions.

If the new growths are as large or larger than the old ones, you shouldn't need to repot.  Only if the new growths are smaller should repotting into a larger container with fresh orchid potting mix be considered.  Aliceara (alcra) is an intergeneric hybrid in the oncidium alliance. You might consider increasing the light level to promote flowering along with use of a bloom booster fertilizer.
