I bought this 6" mini phalaenopsis from Trader Joe's on January 7, 2010. At that time, it had six flower in bloom and nine buds. Now, all are in bloom except one. I used to put the plant in the bathroom so that the shower steam would provide warmth and humitidy. The buds used to flower really quickly during the first few weeks. What can you tell me about the health of my beloved mini phal from the photo? Thank you in advance!
AnswerFrom the picture, this plant looks fine. When it has finished flowering you might consider repotting it in orchid potting mix in a slightly larger plastic pot with lots of drainage holes. If you are unsure how to repot, when the time comes, I can guide you through the process.
