QuestionHello, I bought my orchid a few years ago and it has done very good. I had a baby and admit I neglected it a bit and it got very dry. It is still alive and I have been watering it and put it back into its favorite spot but so far if is just sitting and not growing anything. Just a green stem. Should I feed it something and if so what is good. I don't know what kind it is does that make a difference? Thank you for all your help.

AnswerErin, to answer your question, it does make a difference as to the type of orchid. If you could send a picture, that might be helpful. If it grows from canes tnat would require one set of recommendations, but if the flower spike originates from basal leaves, that would require a different approach.
