I have no idea what my orchid is ... it's on bark and blooms about once a year and it looks like a beard ... and when I bring it indoors at night, the scent is gorgeous!!
I have nice pictures if you'd like to see.
AnswerPlease send the other pictures. It looks like a Brassavola species. They like it warm, bright, lots of air movement, lots of humidity. Since it's mounted on a wood mount, it should be soaked at least every other day. One species, Brassavola nodosa, is also called "Lady of the Night" due to the nightly fragrance which is used to attract moth pollinators and is the most popular of the Brassavola species grown by hobbyists. Most the the Brassavola species are pollinated by moths so are fragrant at night.
