I wrote you a couple of weeks ago about my plant and how it was blooming. I am sending pictures to you so you can see what my plant is doing as it flowers. This has been going on for 2mos although the flowers are getting a little larger.
AnswerDebbie, I have seen and experienced this on many occassions. Usually, the emerging flower spike is obstruted and unable to straighten itself. Most commonly it seems to get trapped in the folds of an emerging leaf. This is best remedied by freeing it from its restraint as early as possible in its growth. It is not a good idea to try to free it up when it is mature enough to initiate buds as it is very brittle and can break. If you try to free it up, do a little at a time to avoid damage. Your plant looks healthy enough so that is not the problem. Any time you see a flower spike emerging, watch for this to occur and free up the emerging spike as early as possible.
