Brown circle dots on leaves

I have one Orchid at this time. Try to see if I can keep it alive before buying many more. I have had this one about 1 year now. It started getting little brown spots on the green leaves. I am not sure how to fix this problem. It looks very green and the leaves are firm.

Carol, let's see if we can rule out (or in) the possibilty that these brown spots are the brown scale insect. Soak a Q-tip in some rubbing alcohol and rub the brown spots with the soaked Q-tip. If they come off, it is likely brown scale. If not, then it may be a fungus infection. Do this test and get back to me for further instructions.
