Baby plants on phalaenopsis

Question
I have a few orchids that have produced new baby "plants" on the flower stem,
however these "plants" don't have any independent roots. Is there a way to trick
these new "plants" into forming roots so as to cut them out and place them in
new pots?

Answer
Hello Nadia,

I'm afraid there is no easy way to get the babies to start growing roots.  Roots will appear once the baby plant is large enough to make a root.  Be patient, it may take several months to almost 6 months for a root to appear and several more months before the root is big enough to remove the baby from the stem.

Hope this has helped.
