Phalis and how to repot or something

Question
I have been growing Phalis now for almost two years, I have one of my first ones that now has four Teikis, and the whole flower is to big on the top half, the pot is fine, the top is way out of control. The stems just keep growing more shoot like things that produce a few flowers or just another really healthy looking shoot. I need to know how to pot those Teikis properly in their own wooden hanging pot? Thanks for helping!!!

Answer
Kristine, I suggest that you stake your flower spike if you haven't already done so.  Use a bamboo stake about the length of the flower spike.  Insert it into to potting mix as far down as you can and fasten the flower spike to the stake with twisty ties-- especially at the top where it is top heaavy.

Keikis should not be removed and potted up until they have roots and leaves at least two inches in length. The keikis should probably go into a small plastic pot with lots of drainage holes and kept moist.  These smaller plants tolerate dryness less well than the larger ones so, when you do pot them up, try to keep their potting mix damp.    Please feel free to ask followup questions if my response raises additional questions or is unclear.
