Question
These bugs have forked tails. I pick them off ail, and they return.  They are soft
and fzzy elongated.   Please tell me how to get rid of them

Hello Jessie,

While I am not certain, I believe they may be mealybugs.  You can get rid of them by using a systemic insecticide, check at your local garden center and ask for one that is recommended for orchids.  Be sure to follow the instructions on mixing and applying along with any safety precautions.  

Until you get the insecticide, you can try wiping the leafs with a soft paper towel that has been dipped in isopropyl alcohol.
