QuestionHi Jim,
Sheryl from So Fla here again...sigh...with another perplexing orchid issue :-). I acquired a new orchid....I can't help it, something called Mtdl or Onc Pacific Sunrise Hakalau. It's gorgeous, but I don't know what kind of light it requires....help! Should I put it with my phals and paphs, that have an eastern exposure (less light) with screening or should it put it with my catts that have a western exposure (afternoon light) with screening? Thanks for the info....because of you, there are about 50 more orchids in the world!
Have a great weekend!

AnswerHi again Sheryl !!!
You are definitely fast becoming an orchid addict! I'm afraid there is no cure for it!! (LOL)
Place the Onc. Pacific Sunrise Hakalau near the phals and paphs but with a little more sunlight. Or you can put it with the catts but with a little more shading. Choice is yours. When moving it into more light, move it slowly into the light over 2-3 weeks to acclimate it to more light.
Hey, by the next question you may be over 100 orchids!!! (grin)
