Question
My orchid has a baby growing on at the end of the spike with just leaves on it. Should I cut the cluster of leaves off from the top and pot that or leave it?

Hello Becky,

Leave the baby or keiki on the spike until it grows several roots that are over 2 inches long, then you can put it in a small pot of its own.  

I have a keiki on one of my phalaenopsis, it has only one root about an inch long but it also has a spike growing on the keiki too!!!
