Questionjust repotted and noticed the leaves are drooping not erect. do they need a dry period after repotting? or what else could be the matter. potted in sphagnum with tree fern and perlite
i kept it in the same place as it had been shall i move it to a darker area for awhile
AnswerHello Judy,
You didn't mnention where you live but if it is almost winter there, now is not the best time to repot it. It is best to repot when temperatures are warmer and there is evidence of new root growth.
But, since you have already repotted it, try placing it in a warm (above 60F) shady place for about a month, water it just enough to keep it barely moist during this time. After the time is up, move it to where it will receive bright indirect sunlight, temperatures above 60F, humidity above 50%, with some light air movement. Water to keep it barely moist until you see new root growth then water it more frequently but allow the potting media to slightly dry between waterings.
Hope this helped.
