Question
My orchid seems to be dying... the top of the plant is drying up and turning yellow.  Should I cut this part of the plant off?  Also when the flowers die is there any special way of remvoing them?  Should I just putt the dead flowers out?

Hello Michelle,

I'm afraid without knowing what kind of orchid you have, it is almost impossible for me to know if what is happening to your orchid is normal or not.  Is there a tag with the plant?  If so, can you send the name and I can try helping you.  It is also helpful to know where you live and how you have been growing it.
