Question
It is not even 2 weeks old and it is dying...2 buds opened up aftyer I brought them home, my mom overwatered it. The flowers are still intact 3 fell off...the root is still there...there is still soem green left, how can I bring it back to health...even a new leaf is coming up.

Sorry to hear about your orchid problem.  You did not say what type of orchid you have so it would be a guess as to what to tell you.  Is there a plastic tag with the name of the orchid in the pot?  If there is, send it in another request and I'll try to help with it.  If there is no tag, can you describe the plant and flowers?  I may be able to guess what it is.  

By the way, for most orchids it is best to wait until the potting mix becomes barely moist before watering and it is also is best to water in the morning rather than afternoon or evening.
