hi i am a student from turkey.I want to ask you two questions.One is about orchids.I want to learn how to grow up orchids,what kind of conditions do they need?Briefly a lot of clues about growing orchids.My other question is about gloxinia.Can you give me information about gloxinia or where can i get information about gloxinia in this internet page?Thanks for all your answers

I can't help you with gloxinias, but I might be able to help with orchids. First, you should be aware that orchids grow naturally in nearly every part of the world.  But, most orchid growers grow hybrids which grow under cool to warm conditions. However, there are many types of orchids and the growing conditions are very different for the different types.  The most common type is the phalaenopsis or moth orchid.  The American Orchid Society has a web site from which you should be able to access cultural information on the most commonly grown orchids.  Try www.aos.org and go to menu for orchid culture.
