HI,   was wondering instead of putting in basement, can you bring them indoors for the winter?

Thanx for your question.  One doesn't necessarily have to put them in the basement.  If you can fine a place to put the pot in the house that is cool, dark and dry for a couple of months.  The point is to allow the plant to rest or go dormant for a couple of months.  The plant will go dormant whether you want it to or not.  But, it will probably die if it isn't given the right conditions to go dormant.  That's why most people lose the colored callas.  They are difficult to maintain over a long period of time as a houseplant.  I hope this helps.
