Hi Tom, I hope you can help me identify this flower! I saw it in the amazing garden at Arrow's Restaurant in Ogunquit, Maine, and have sent them a picture with the same question. Their answer back was that it's "something in the Astilbe family", but I am not finding any info anywhere and would really love to get this for my garden.
You can see from the photo I took that it almost seems like Veronica growing out of an Astilbe, but these plants were literally 8-10 feet tall! Really beautiful.

Thanx for your question. I've been trying to find examples of a plant 8-10 feet tall. It looks like a type of gooseneck or loosestrife.

It does look a bit like veronica but it's too tall. Do you have any other pics?
