In Indiana when it's hot and dry   what is the best time on the day to water my flowers and yard to get the most out of it?

Hi Don,
Thanx for your question.  The best time is in the morning before it gets too hot.  Water at the base of plants instead of overhead.  Overhead watering contributes to disease and can actually cause plants to burn as it gets hotter.  If you absolutely cannot water in the morning, the next best time is evening before the sun goes down.  Again, water at the base of the plants and no overhead watering.  I hope this helps.
