QuestionAre there any other color variations of Stella de Oro daylily? What other varieties of daylilies with similar characteristics can be used as complementaries in a long, front walkway planting?
Thank you for your time and cooperation. We welcome any suggestions and recommendations you might offer and look forward to your reply.

AnswerHello Les %26 Jill
There is a huge variety of Daylilies (Hemerocallis), but the majority of them seem to come in various shades of yellow. I have assumed that as you already have the golden yellow Stella de Ora, you are not looking for another yellow flower?
So here are just a few you might consider:
H. 'Francis Joiner: Evergreen. Double pink/orange flowers.
H. 'Catherine Woodbery': Evergreen. Single light pink flowers with a light green throat, and a ruffled edge to the petals.
H. 'Manunna Loa': Semi evergreen. Lavender blue flowers with a yellow throat.
H. 'Prairie Blue Eyes': Semi evergreen. Lavender blue flowers with a yellow throat.
H. 'Scarlet Orbit': Semi evergreen. Bright red flowers with a yellow and green throat.
H. 'Super Purple': Semi evergreen. Deep purple flowers with lime green and yellow throat.
I have only listed evergreen and semi-evergreen varieties here so that your walkway will have color even in the dormant period of growth.
You may feel that those with a pinkish flower might get lost among the bright yellow of the Stella de Oro, but I included them so that you at least have the choice!
Yellow and lavender make a striking contrast and the purple and red examples will really sing out placed next to yellow - you could, of course, mix and match for a real show stopping display and I hope I have given you some varieties which will give your imagination a 'zing'.
