QuestionWill a jasmine tree live even after frost bitten trunk still green when you scrap it but no leaves left on it
AnswerHi Amanda,
Thanx for your question. If you're in a zone that's normally, relatively frost free (an occasional light frost), your jasmine will survive. There have been some cold spells throughout Florida in the last few years but generally, most of the plants come back. Occasionally, a weaker, younger plant will succumb to the unusual cold. if the trunk is still green, give it a few weeks to leaf out. Sometimes, after a cold shock, it can take longer than normal for the plant to recover. I hope this helps.
