QuestionHi I live in south Florida- Fort Myers- and I was wondering about our poor crotons that got frost-bitten with the last cold spell. Do you know if the plants will come back. They look pretty bad. All their leaves have drooped and their color is brown.
Thank you
AnswerHi Lybbe,
Thanx for your question. I think your crotons will come back. Give them a month or so to recover. At the end of the month, if they still haven't leafed out yet, give them a tug. If they start to give, they probably died. If they don't give then the root is still alive and you'll have to just bear with them. Croton is tropical but it is tough. I hope this helps.
