QuestionI live in Delaware. Are gerbera Daisies perennials? When should I plant them? Thanks
AnswerHello Trish
Thank you for your question.
Gerbera are native to Africa and Asia - hot regions - where they are perennial. As Delaware is in the north east of the USA and therefore not tropical(!) Gerbera should be treated as a tender plant and grown indoors - preferably in a glass-house. If you have a particularly nice (hot) summer they can be put on display outside for a while.
