QuestionIt's July 2nd and my autumn sedum has "buds" on it and appears that it may flower during the summer rather than the fall. Should I cut off the "flowers" and let it rebud?
Thanks
AnswerHi LM,
Thanx for your question. It is normal for sedum to start showing buds now. The buds will not open completely and begin blooming until late August or early September depending upon what your climate is like. More northerly climates will be later. More southerly climates, sooner. Don't cut the buds off now. Although I've never experienced this, I don't think the plant will rebud. I hope this helps.
