I want to know if any part of the canna plant is toxic?  I saw a similar question posted about CANNA lilies but the response stated that the CALLA lily was highly toxic.

Hi Linda,
Thanx for your question.  Canna's aren't lilies although some people refer to them as lilies and yes, callas are toxic.  The listing I have for you to look at below, indicates that cannas are listed as non-toxic or of a mildy toxic level.

The ASPCA indicates the canna is not toxic to dogs or cats.
