QuestionWhat is causing my coneflower to wilt, and what can I do to save it?
AnswerHi Michelle,
Thanx for your question. There are a number of reasons your coneflower is wilting. Is it hot where you are? Has it been unusually dry. If that's the case, give the plant a drink once a week if you're having no regular rains. Grubs can eat at the long taproot and cause wilting. Coneflowers are pretty tough. They tolerate heat, drought and all kinds of other conditions. Can you give me more of an idea of what has been going on? How old is the plant? Local weather conditions?
thx,
Tom
