my mom used to have a plant that grew very tall and had big blooms on it. the leaves looked exactly like a marijuana leaf. what could it be?

Thanx for your question.  Was the plant a houseplant or did it grow outdoors?  Do you know if it was a wildflower or a cultivated flower (something you bought at a nursery).  What is your general location?  What does the flower look like, color, size, petals, etc.  How tall was the plant and how large are the leaves.  Does it grow in sun or shade?
