Question
I sold my house and would like to take my peony plant.  It is mid April now, can I transplant it now?  The plant is about 3 inches out of the ground now.

Hi Irene,
thanx for your question.  Yes, get the plant out of the ground now and transplant as soon as possible.  It will probably look terrible this year and it probably won't bloom for the next two years but it should make the transition if you get to it now.  I hope this helps.
