Question
I live in Palm Beach County, FL. I am considering planting a hedge (50 ft.)around the perimeter of my pool fence (25 feet away from the pool). Would Red Hot Hibiscus work? I would want the hedge to grow to about 5 feet.

Hi Jack,
Thanx for your question.  I used to live up in NW Florida in Ft. Walton Beach.  My brother and his family are over near Daytona Beach.  You could use red hot hibiscus but don't you think oleander would be better?  It makes a better hedge and is more amenable to pruning plus it flowers constantly.  I hope this helps.
