Question
We have calla lilies growing in the back yard.  Usually this time of year in Northern CA they are a deep green color with brilliant white flowers.  Instead they are turning yellow with healthy looking flowers.  Irrigatoin system has been off but we do get sporadic rain.  We have not done any fertilzation.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bryan,
Thanx for your question.  If the climate is unusually drier this year, you may consider deep watering the plants once a week.  If you are not feeding, consider using a spinkle of bone meal around the plant following the directions on the box.  I hope this helps.
