QUESTION: Im sorry I seem to have forgotten that part. I am in Durham,N.C.. I believe I originally planted this bed in the fall of 2000 and it has multiplied to a 14x16 under some azaleas and over a low wall but everything has got to be moved this week due to construction. The azaleas can be moved but should I just forgo the candytuff and start with new plants?If so when should I plant the candytuff?

Hi Betty,
Thanx for the additional information.  You should be okay in Zone 7 to move your candytuft now but I'd do it this week, like you planned just to be on the safe side.  You might want to mulch it a little bit with some cypress mulch or leaves but I think the plants will be okay moved now.  So will your azaleas.  I hope this helps.
