AnswerHi Marie,
Thanx for your question. When planting shrubs, always plant them a little deeper than they were in the pot. Also, dress the bottom of the hole with composted manure. Now, fill the soil back around the plant. Give the plant some Miracid (made by the Miracle Grow people) according the the directions on the box. Give the plant a good soaking and then watering twice a week should be fine. Many shrubs experience shock when being moved. They'll drop leaves, not bloom and look pretty ratty for a while. I think your shrub is undergoing this and I imagine if you keep watering and give it a little bit of that Miracid, it will be fine. I hope this helps.
