QuestionHi. I have hen & chick plants that have done very well in strawberry planters. There are lots of babies. I live in Canada where it goes well below zero in winter. What can I do with these planters over the winter - keep them in a heated garage, am unheated shed or bring them in the house. If they are planted in the ground, they come back in the spring after being frozen but I wasnt sure if they will survive being in pots. Thanks for your help

AnswerEvelyn,
Definitely bring the pots inside. It's fine to keep them in a cool environment or a warm one. You will want to put a systemic insecticide in the plants about a week before you bring them in. Jobe's has spikes that you can put in the pot or there is a granular product. The idea is to kill all the insects that have set up home in your pots.
