lily survival

Question
I was given what I believe is an Asain lily. It was orange with the black dots on the petals and looks like an Asain lily.  But I lost its tag.  Anyway right now it looks dead. I don't know if it's because its flowering time is over for the year or if it's messed up for good because I didn't water it enough.  I would like to know if there is a way that I can take care of it so that it will bloom again next year since it is a perennial. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Rachel,

Your "Tiger Lilies" are looking just like they should this time of year.  They are a perennial and will come back next year if you are in the right growing zones.
Dave's Garden website has some good information on Tiger lilies and other plants.
