Question
I am looking at purchasing this perennial.  I live in Minnesota and would like to know the best time to plant the bulb.  I want to start a perennial garden and this would be my first flower I'm planting.

Dear Patty,
    The best place to buy your perennials are in your local area.  Most of them were grown FOR your area.  Spring is the the best time.  You might even find someone who has some in their garden and is willing to share-that's where you get your best plants!!

Here is the google search page for the Butterfly Scabiosa--there are MANY places to purchase them,  I am not fond of Spring Hill Nursery but they have good resources on their site.
