QuestionHi there- I am trying to identify two plants in my garden. Both have elliptic leaves, smooth (entire), and are even pinnately veined.
Plant 1 is larger, about 3 ft tall, with large palm-sized leaves with tiny white buds (5 petals each) coming off the central stem. (2 photos of this plant.)
In addition, plant 2 is small, no more than 8 inches high, and the leaves cluster in groups of four.

AnswerHi A,
Thanx for your question and the photos. Sorry I have taken so long but I have been racking my brains trying to figure this one out. Do you have some pictures that are not so close of the flower structure? I would like to see how the flowers look with the leaves. It looks like a leguminous plant (something related to the pea family) but I can't put my finger on it. If you could provide more pictures, I'd still like a chance to try to identify it. I'm sorry I haven't been of much help.
Tom
