QuestionI have had several large (approx 5ft) euonymous shrubs as part of my landscaping for several years. 3 of them on 1 side of my home have been dropping leaves the past couple of years so fast that by now they look barren and sick. They're getting the same amount of water/sunlight as all the others, and I don't see any mites on them. Is this a typical sign of some disease that I can counteract?
AnswerHi Jane,
Thanx for your question. It sounds like either anthracnose which is a bacterium or scale which is an insect. I have included a website from Clemson University which goes into extensive detail about pests of Euonymus and the treatment. I hope this helps.
