QuestionI plant Gerbera Daisies in pots outside in the summer and they bloom quite well. I keep them in a heated garage oveer winter with grow lights and they return every year. However, they will not bloom after the first year. Is there something I can do to promote blooming?
Thank you.
AnswerDear Richard,
While wintering them over, keep them in a cool place that is mostly dark. If you put them under growlights, they will continue to act like they are growing. All plants need a dormancy period. Try a little darkness and coolness-keep them a little damp.
