hi i have a dataura. looks very heathy, lots of buds. put before they are fully open they fall over dead. other than that plant looks very heathy??

Hi Nancy,
Sorry it took so long to get to you.  I've never had this problem with my daturas and have never seen it occur with other peoples' plants.  I can tell you that all the pests of tomatoes, peppers, potatoes and eggplant can adversely affect datura belongs to the same family.  It could be spider mites though that are feeding on the unripened ovaries of the flower.  Do the buds turn brown of black?  Does a flower ever form?  You can treat the plant with a miticide or horticultural soap available at your local nursery or DIY.  I hope this helps.
