Question
recently i added ortho weed and feed to my lawn and added a little around some of my flowers to help rid of weeds now my flowers and bushes with flowers are dieing what did i do wrong and what if anything can i do to save and fix all of my hard work i dont want to se my plants and flowers die please help

Hi Sharon,
Thanx for your question.  You cannot put Weed and Feed around your flowers because it will leach into the soil to the roots of your flowers and kill them.  The flowers that have already been affected I'm sorry to say are probably gonners.  There's nothing you can do but let Nature take it's course.  Hopefully, the Weed and Feed will just kill the perimeter of your plants and some of the stockier, healthier plants may actually survive.  Some of the bushes may survive just because they are bigger and you say you only put a little bit around them.  Weed and feed is only to keep broadleaved weeds out of lawns.  Be sure to read the labels of all chemicals very carefully.  I don't want to lecture or scold you because I'm sure you're feeling frustrated enough as it is, but it is very, very, important to read the labels thoroughly as some of these chemicals can be very dangerous.  I hope this helps.
