QuestionMy grandfather gave me four baby hibiscus plants. I've been on here reading for hours and, I don't know for sure if it's a tree or a bush. I haven't the slightest idea on how to take care of these. Can you plant them in pots and then re-plant them into the ground next spring once they are a little bigger? Any help on this would really set my mind at ease.
Thanks again-
Lindsay
AnswerLindsay,
You "probably have the tropical" hibiscus if there is only one or two main stems. The tropical should be in large pots and brought in for the winter (mine never bloomed in the summer outside-they brought brilliance to the winter!they love it in the south windows)
