QuestionHello,
Do you know how to remove clover from a periwinkle bed without killing the periwinkle? I tried weeding but the clover is growing faster than I can remove it and I can't get the roots without pulling out periwinkle.
AnswerHi Chuck,
Thanx for your question. In this case you can dig up the areas with the clover infestation, separate any perwinkle plants and return them to the dug up spot while tossing the clover. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear but I hope it helps. You might also try spot killing the clover by using a small cup of Roundup and a paintbrush and "painting" the clover without getting any of the Round up on the periwinkle. The Roundup will travel to the roots of the clover and kill the whole thing and then biodegrade in 24 hours.
