Question
I purchased a flat of small lavendar plants for color and fragrance in my garden, however, I know nothing about lavendar!!  Plants were 2" when planted..it's now 5 weeks later and they have not quite doubled.  When will they flower and become fragrant?  Thanks, D. from Ft. Bragg, N.C.

Fort Bragg -- the son of a good friend landed there 2 mornings ago, day after Memorial Day.  Fancy meeting you here.  Feels like we're old friends -- sorry but I do miss the lad and worry about it constantly.  Practically the son I never had.
