QuestionI have put preen on my garden beds after tilling...now I want to plant seeds...is there any way that I can...could I dig rows and lay down top soil and plant the seeds that way so they don't come in contact with the preen until after germination?
AnswerHi Cheri,
Thanx for your question. Preen prevents seed germination. I would not waste my time trying to plant seeds in a bed that has been treated for seeds until after it has worn out. It should tell you on the container how long the Preen will last. Start your seeds indoors or in flats in a protected area outdoors and transplant the seedlings to the flower bed. I hope this helps.
