QuestionHi, I bought a dying plant from a garden centre for 50pence last year and hoped I could somehoe revive it.
I thought it died last year but found it had little red/green shoots.
I cut all the dead thin stems off and gave it some plant food.
Any advice will do as I dont know what plant Gaura is? What it should look like? From what it looks like, she's pretty hardy!
Also should I plant it on the ground?
Thanks.
AnswerHi Kumari,
Thanx for your question. I grew Gaura a few years ago and it was a beautiful plant. I unfortunately killed it, when I transplanted it too early in the spring and froze its roots. It is a tough, North American perennial. Here is a link that will give you all you need to grow it. I assume you are in the U.K. and I think the plant will probably do well over there. Do, plant it in the ground and don't grow it as a potted plant. I hope this helps.
